I've always been a nikon guy. currently have a d300 and d60. use the d300 for the more importanat stuff, the d60 is basically my clunker haha.

that being said, some of the best shots I've ever gotten have been from guys using cannons.

so what say you?

I use canons 40d and eos 300. Im a canon guy, but i think those mid price range dslr nikons are about as good at canons, but those cheap nikons are a joke imo. Theyr way too stripped to drop the price..

yea, go big or go home... but not too big.. the d3 is like 10K for the body alone... haha

anyway I am currently using a crappy HP 945 but will soon receive Canon EOS 40D and hopefully also a EF 17-40 f4 L USM lens
I chose Canon because its quite easy to get cheap used lenses
but if I had money ^^ I would probably have bought the new Nikon D700
