student agency bus costs ~5 euro from Prague to Brno and imo its more comfortable and faster arround 2.5 hours I think.

y national meal is Roastpork with sauerkraut and dumpings and its really good , I am from Praha not from Brno so I cannot recommend you any good hotels there. I just say Praha > all

i would recommend bus also - same price but faster and more comfortable than czech trains... but i guess you dont care as i remember polish trains
as i know a programmer salary is about 20k - 30k czk per month, even more depends on experience ...

unfortunately i am not from brno as well, but you can choose accommodation you like depends on your need and budget (cheap hostels -> ***** hotels)

then me is better travel better because it's realy faster then bus and u have more more comfortable and i am not too from brno i'm from Slovak rep. so i don't no how it is in Brno or Praha but then me is better travel by train
