I'm rather new to the whole minecraft survival thing, never really played it on anything other than creative. But about a week ago I figured I would give survival a shot.
Started to play offline and that is dreadfully boring just playing by ones self. So I set out to try to find a small community that would suit my survival needs and boy did i find one!

This server is very friendly and very helpful. Like I said a few days ago I knew nothing about minecraft survival but this server has been ever so helpful with helping explain how things work in this virtual world.
They helped me get a farm started and all that fun jazz that I had no clue you could do lol. But back to on topic. Once you become a member of the server (acquiring your password) a mod or admin of the server will then give you a plot of land in their town. Its a 35x35 plot of land. This town runs in a fairly narrow strip so from any house location it isn't too far that you have to travel to get to the wild.
Many plugins for the server. Server world in infinite so you can literally go forever! The team takes griefing very seriously and anyone caught destroying like 20-50 blocks or something will be banned from the server. Your 35x35 plot is protected however but anything in the wild is not so you need to get yourself a protection stone (sponge (25x25), red giant mushroom block( 50x50), brown giant mushroom block (75x75). The server also has a PVP Arena, Mob arena, Tree farm, Mining world, Market to sell stuff to game, Mall to sell stuff to other players, MCmmo, and Mini games!
The sever has very good up time and there is usually always someone online unless it is the crazy we hours of the morning. Hope to see more of you there!!

thanks, probably going to stick to this server for a while because the staff is so friendly and so are the players. plus i am enjoying the survival aspect

What version

running 1.7.8 atm they are updating to 1.7.9 tomorrow though cuz they are having some issues with craftbukkit crashing the server so they are going to update it all and hope it solves this issue they have been having.
