Once you've spent 10+ hours collecting them, they're not fun or interesting to collect anymore, they're just labor inducing. But I on the other hand prefer to harvest my own materials. After you spent awhile building a massive monument, you can think.. Wow, I did all this on my own. It would be definitely something to be proud of.

Not necessarily.. It depends on people's preference to play the game. What part do they like best? Mob hunting? Mining? Building? It just depends on why people play. Next time you are going to post something of this nature, don't.
