I tried buttons already but I didn't like them because I had less of a chance to get through the door before it closed and it seemed easier for me to just run straight for the door without clicking anything by placing the pressure plate in front of the door lol. can someone explain why this works the way it does in simple terms? like why is it that redstone dust can only be placed on one side of the door and isn't necessary on the other?

Survival BUT the admins do host events where if its a building event if you ask sometimes they will help you with materials etc

currently have one builder on my server that I gave World edit because hes creating me a giant underground maze

pretty cool. ive lost hours to the single player alone. played mp a bit, but friend stopped hosting.
