1.8?

The new update. It was leaked, but notch says he doesn't care.

I ended up finding a village next to this epic hollow mountain thing. They either upped the terrain generator or I got lucky with a random seed. There's also a river that has an underground entrance to the hollow mountain. It's pretty sick.

1.8 would very very badass if not for the terrible lag lol.. I saw this amazing ravine on the server I'm playing in! there's also this weird thing with endermen. it's kinda random if you get one that actually attacks you if you look at them.. some pretend you don't exist

How do you play 1.8 ?

man just logged in stikll can't build but saw the damage that sucks.

i heard some ppl talking that its going to be released this month soon or in October so i would wait instead of using a buggy leak with a chance of getting a virus if not downloaded from a legit source.
though i heard Notch provided a Source link that's trustable but i will wait till official since it will prob be a little more stable.

For 1.8
http://assets.minecraft.net/1_8-pre/minecraft.jar
dl that replace the old minecraft.jar < REMEMBER TO SAVE THE OLD ONE.
then just run normally
the jar is in %appdata% roaming > .minecraft.

but as said this is buggy.

no need now that the update is official.

Also SEX just ot let you know but the Server is outdated so i dunno if you have to update it or something but ppl with 1.8 can't join it ( at least i can't )
