So I bounce from game to game a lot, maplestory has always been interesting but never enough for me to try it, however I have nothing better to do atm when im not at work and the GF is at school, so yeah why not its free right?

Just wondering if theres a common server that people on JSP mostly play, I would eventually like to buy/sell things on here.

No it isn't free. Unless you want to do shit damage and not enjoy the game. Game is pay 2 win and has been since they added potential.

I wouldn't necessarily say it is pay 2 win. It leads the advantage, but there are those that have the merchant skills to do otherwise. Buying nx in-game is a thing.

Ville, it never hurts to try a game, especially when you're bored as can be. As for the server, I'd recommend either like Bera or Windia or Broa. These are all pretty popular

Scania is just overpopulated and annoying for me, personally

well i personally would not play it without a hyper teleport rock (i bought one for 30$ when they were selling perm ones)

the travel system in this game is beyond retarded, but perhaps you can find a way to make it not so bad as i saw it.

other then that you dont really need cash shop money unless you want to look pretty (i bought 20$ nx on dungeon fighter so i could buy the kawaii Kitty Hair on maplestory) there are things you could buy a lot of in the cash shop that would give you a huge advantage over other players but thats retarded

im level 177

i did every single quest in the game that i could within reason (didnt kill balrog boss 200 times, didnt kill any of the end game bosses. pink bean, horntail, akarium, cygnus)

that got me up to around level 150 or so (this was like a year ago mind you but im willing to bet its pretty much the same). after that the game went down the shitter for me. i had a friend or two that i did party quests with for awhile after that. and i did do the whole "grind LHC for 1000000 hours" but i grew tired of that within a week. so after that i only logged in to do red leaf high event or when they add new quests for me to do.

i will admit i had quite a bit of fun despite how shitty the game play on this game is (you use 1 skill constantly over and over and it 1 shots monsters/if not the whole room)

then once u get a new skill u use that one and do the same thing lol. (Evan gameplay at least)

if you are a lone wolf player like me..you wont find a lot of enjoyment in the end game.

pretty much all there is to do is kill the same bosses over again in hopes for drops that you can sell for some money

your damage isnt going to come even close to being able to kill them solo though. and i doubt you could even find a party (for free) but who knows.

Game is no fun. I remember having to do APQ for apples and then getting 10+ people to do Zakum runs to sell karma'd zhelms. I played everyday for weeks on end doing that, then when not zakuming would have fun grinding or just talking.

All my friends quit soon after potential as did I. Came back several times since then and all areas are dead

expect to spend at least something to actually get somewhere
