Hi I found out about Maplestory and needed some guidance. As a beginner I was wondering what would be a good world to play in and what class should I start with. The reason I ask this is because since I am a beginner and don't know people playing this game I wanted to be in a place where I can get some friends and find groups that could help me out and what not if you know what I mean.

Any world is fine imo. If you want to join me, start in Scania. Pick Hayato or Kanna since they are the newest classes, meaning they are OP like all other newly released characters XD

I say go to GAZED alliance, that's an alliance with 5 servers plus a lot of people on jsp still play there.

I'd say bera or gazed. I'd put a little more emphasis on gazed though if you want to buy/sell items on jsp
