im a 188 cannon and when buffed I have 164 dex (4 base) 22 of which is from my czak

so I'm going to start working on the emp set (shark tooth skipper) and with 5 items It gives a +20dex along with some of the items adding random amounts my question is if i hit 170 dex throw on some of the items and get the + dex from them will I be able to put on the full set when I take off say my czak or will it just go red?
