This isnt true. I never fund new characters until I hit about 120+.
However starting new means no blessing, no links skills, no card system, so you may want to Make at least 3 characters and level them to 70 first before moving past 70. This is for card system / Blessing etc. If you care, make a Cygnuss first to 120. Then make a Mercedes OR Cannon Shooter to lvl 70 (10% Exp or 15 all stat boost). Then Make a UA (if you want Explorer) or any 3rd class of your choice (or 4th if you choose both Mercedes and Cannon Shooter) That you want to Keep playing. If you choose to keeping playing your 2nd or 3rd than thats perfect.
You won't be weak if you do this. 24 blessing buff and 1 set card system is all it takes to get things going. It may take some time, but it helps alot.
If you don't care, theres honestly still not too much to worry about. Leveling is still fast up to 120, and you certainly will be pretty weak, but not by too much. Good luck!
