Hey i just came back to the game and see my skill points are given back due to skills being changed. First of all was this a buff or nerf for the assassin?

I also dont know what skill points i should max so please help me out! fg to best answer

As for a guide look on basilmarket for a nightlord or any other guide.

First job: max everything except double stab.
Second job: max everything
Third job: max everything except TT, you'll be using 3rd job points to finish up 2nd job skills.
4th job: Really depends what you plan to do, bossing or training, and what books you have/can get.

The reason you don't max TT is because Quad is simply better and so TT will never be used (assuming you're 4th job). Shuriken Blast and Gust Charm have uses even in 4th job, hence why you use 3rd job points to max them. Good luck.
