Never got to far in the years I've played maplestory on and off. And now that I'm finally investing a good chunk of time into the game I've got a decent bishop up in the 140's.

Never really scrolled anything past junk leveling gear. Got my full Dragon Tail set and most of the items I'm gonna be using for the rest of its life.

Just curious on how the order goes for scrolling.

Is there any order you should scroll and cube in?

Do you scroll type of item scrolls, chaos scroll, cube for better stats and then enhance equip?

Example:

Scroll 10% Int Overall + White scrolls for perfect 10/10
Chaos scroll for better stats
Potential it
Cube for better 3 line
Enhance Equip

In that order or is there a better order for better stats.

It's usually better to just buy your gear with good stats and cube from there if necessary.

Depends on the item, how much funding you have, how much NX you're willing to spend and how you plan to scroll the item.

From your first post, it seems you might be misunderstanding how chaos scrolls work. Chaos scrolls take a scroll slot, so if you 10/10 (should be 12/12 btw with hammers) an overall with 10% ints, you can't chaos it since you used all 10 (12) slots. GMS doesn't have them readily available (new marvel machine gives them out though), but there are also positive chaos scrolls that give +0-5 instead of the -5 to +5 that regular chaos scrolls have. M chaos being -10 to +10 of course.

You can scroll/potential/cube in whatever order you choose, which way saves you the most mesos/NX depends on how you plan to scroll/potential (discussed below). The only thing you should do last is enhancements, since it's dependent on what stats the item has, whereas the others are independent.

Now I'll assume you're planning to scroll wtfgodly on each of your 6 empress items.

Weapon:

Due to the fact that empress weapons are pretty rare and depends on server on how available they are, assuming yours was pretty hard to obtain and cost quite a bit more than any of the armor pieces, I'd suggest not risking kabooming it and so epic potential 100%. The epic potential scrolls are almost always worth it unless you're extremely lucky with cubes. I'd prot scroll/white scroll 1-3 7th anniversary matt scrolls (the ones that give +8 but lose success chance with each successful scroll), then finish it with prot/white 6th anniversary matt scrolls that give +7. Some will suggest using the renegade scrolls that give stats + matt, but assuming you're going for top end, 1 matt will become extremely valuable. After landing 10 of whatever matt scrolls you choose, throw an adv enhancement scroll. Each enhancement should be giving 4-6 matt, I'm not entirely sure where your weapon will end up on, so I can't be sure how much each will give. I'd probably throw about 5 enhancements on it, then move onto cubing. Depending if you're looking to boss or train, you will have to decide when to stop cubing and pouring funds into other areas.

Cape:

This is again another particularly expensive pieces, probably ranging in the 1-1.5b mark depending on how you buy your mats. So again, I wouldn't risk the kaboom or the randomness of chaos and probably just epic potential 100, then cube it to 3 lines if necessary, then white scroll 10%s for int. If you're ambitious you can try throwing m. chaos on it to try and get more matt. After finishing scrolling, throw an adv enhance on it for a few extra int/luk then move onto cubing. I'd hold off on enhancing it beyond 1, simply because the cost to protection it outweighs the gains. This will be true for all armor pieces.

Hat:

If you choose to Mchaos, I'd Mchaos first, then epic potential after you're happy with your hat. Finish up slots with prot/white int helm scrolls. If you choose to just helm int scroll it, I'd try and land 1-2 30% int helms before starting to white/prot, simply because a helm costs about the same as a white. If you kaboom, you saved mesos. if you land you saved mesos, if you missed you can fuse it with your next helm. After finishing, again, throw 1 adv enhance, then cube for best results. When you stop cubing depends on how much NX you have.

Overall:
Same as hat pretty much, replacing int helms with int overall.

Glove:

This one is tricky because the piece isn't too expensive, but matt glove scrolls are hard to find. You might even consider using scroll shielding wards (or whatever the ones that protect the scroll itself) in conjunction with white/prots. For this piece, I'd actually suggest trying to get 3 lines potential before starting to scroll. After scrolling, 1 adv enhance, then cube to your liking.

Shoe:

Because there's no matt for shoe scrolls (or at least I've never seen one, the watt ones are insanely hard to find) or int for shoe scrolls, you'll have to decide if you want to m chaos (I'd suggest this) or use a 7th anni/renegades armor for int scrolls. I suggest the mchaos route because the int way will cost a bunch with prots/whites and in the end provide less for more. Then 1 adv enhance, cube etc.

Again, this isn't very specific since I don't know exactly how you want to scroll and what kind of funding you have.

General tip: scroll with max dilligence, I've heard the 10% is additive, not multiplicative so it's huge.

Hopefully this makes sense, first time I tried to post this I lost the text and this time I had alot of random edits throughout. lol.

Thanks that helped out a lot. I got a little over 36b spread throughout 5 of my chars and NX I can buy no problem(no limit credit card ftw :D).

I did spend about 18 hours between 2 days just to get lvl 100 diligence.

One question I do have is do white scrolls work with adv enhance scrolls?

No, because Enhancements don't use a scroll slot. You can only use an enhancement scroll on a piece of equipment if it has 0 slots available (however it can be before or after 0/1/2 hammers, I always suggest enhancing after using both hammers and scrolling for best effects).

Luck or lots of funding. There's no limit to how many times you can enhance an item, but a protection scroll (or whatever the NX equivalent is called) will only protect the item up to 12 successful times. Awhile back protection scrolls were like 20m a pop, so if you stocked up then, not difficult or even expensive to 12 star your gear. But a few updates ago Nexon changed protection scrolls to be account bound, so if you didn't have them before, your only option at the moment is to use the CS version, which is much more expensive.

don't use protect scrolls on your own gear if you have to buy them from the cash shop, they're retardedly overpriced. I worked out a while ago that on average you'd have to spend over 500k nx on fully ehancing one item. It's far far cheaper to buy your gear pre-scrolled, pre-enhanced and pre-cubed from people who either had massive stockpiles of prots/gm scrolls from when they were cheap, or duped them themselves.
