if you're looking for a character that needs minimal funding to boss with, zero is good. High base pdr/boss dmg, zero-empress equips can be crafted, free weapon cubes for weapon, and really easy to get to lvl 10 profession. Only thing is, you have to get to 180.

do you guys think the beast tamer will be a good class to fund?

Any class is good to fund if you enjoy playing it. I love my Kaiser but most people think they are boring.
