PreBB was probably the most fun I had with Maplestory (Aside from when Merc was first released).

I played everything PreBB but I had 3 mains (Dexless Sin, Dexless Dit, and I/L)

Nowadays I just like starting over with friends on a new server.

All new servers economy is the same. Everything is expensive ;O But it makes sense. Its stable (sorta, people compete to sell certain items) and there is no hackers (for the most part). The only problem with how maplestory is, is that NX is for the whole account, not for a server. So those who sold Duped items and such for NX, can still go nuts in newer servers.

However newer servers are still better in terms of less shitty people, actual difficulty (no link skills, card system, cygnus, no actual pressure). Which is why I like to start fresh. Just play with 1 character without Blessing, Link skills, etc.. Makes it more challenging too to play without being stupidly funded. It usually becomes a bit fun again (playing with friends is always fun though :P)

GMs are more active nowadays.

Game was better before potential though. Now it is 100% pay to win, if you don't spend NX or dupe there is no chance of you getting anywhere near 'pro' status.

Theres no reason to get "pro" status. Games in the first place you're supposed to enjoy it. And MMOs are meant to give a satisfaction through gaining stronger (most of the time). Struggling and leveling without NX still enables you to completely play Maplestory. However, in this day and age, everyone plays for stupid reasons.

Once you hit lvl 200. It means nothing. You do absolutely nothing. Bossing isnt even fun. Im trying to find someone to buy my account so I can quit for good. (fg or $)
