You need a lot of mesos. Pretty much craft bronze plates a hell of a lot of times, then craft arrows till you have 10 smithing, unlearn smithing, repeat.

Exactly my point, there's a 500xp diligence cap per day.

Well no it doesn't go over the daily cap really, you stop gaining diligence from crafting, however you get the diligence bonus from leveling smithing still. Cost me...around 300m? The fatigue pots are what kill you if you want to level up fast. Roughly 8 pots to go from 1 to 10 smithing.

300mil is dirt cheap for +mastery book success and +scroll success
