Surprisingly I got hacked. I want to blame either of 2 things.
1. The new Game Guard. Nexon doing changes on ANYTHING = pretty bad.
2. I used NX for the first time after that supposed hack info leaked. Days later hacked. Possible reason since everyone is saying it is.

Either way. Im not even mad. Just tired xD

Debating on whether to quit or not since they took everything from all 7 of my characters.

Or if I maybe should switch servers. Thoughts?

Personally i would quit the game.

Know anyone buy an account with real $$? my Merc lvl 177 still has godly equips that are untradeable (hence the hacker couldnt take them) like Empress gear

here is a tip;
when buying nx prepaid, use a mule account when buying MTS items. I've never used my main account, because the MTS has always been fishy.
Even if you're just buying 10 atk wgs to merch, still use a mule account. People have been hackerrred numerous times because of MTS complications,
so you really have to be careful. GL and HF, just use a super huge password next time, and an even trickyer pic number. You wont get hacked, if you do all of this.
Dont get discouraged, it's easy to start over and get to a decently high level.

Haha I have come and go in Maplestory since Beta. Quit come back quit come back etc. As for the buying nx part. I didnt buy nx. I used MTS to get nx for the first time and use Cash Shop.

Sure decently high level is easy but 177? ._.

Edit: Dont forget lvl 120 Cygnus for the buff. And then DS + Cannoneer for the Link skill. And even Merc if Im choose not to main her this time.

I'm in a similar situation... I stopped playing for about a year and just got back on my account yesterday to find all my chars stripped

I don't think I got hacked but I think an old guildy(who had access to my account) took everything since I "quit"

I'm thinking of starting again in a new server.
