I'd love to see something that rewards individual skill & teamplay. Hear me out.

Certain contributions within the game should earn gold. While a complex calculation could be really cool, this should be easy to calculate in your head. For example, one kill could equal 1 gold. An assist could be 0.2 gold. Acquiring an objective could be 1 gold. Obtaining a merc camp could be 0.2 gold. Etc.

The core could act as an area to spend gold for benefits. An example would be similar to Dota on Warcraft III. You could buy individual items, and/or buy upgrades for your buildings or lane creatures.

In DotA, this got out of hand. The game was highly individualized. Even xp was not shared. To make this work, I'd love to see gold only offer minor benefits. An example (which would still be massively impactful) would be an item that costs 10 gold might offer a hero +10% attack damage, or +5% movespeed.

An easy way to test this would be to create a map based on around item collection and upgrades. The goal of the map would be to collect gold and the victory condition would be to snowball your opponent. The items on that map might be slightly more powerful. If it went over well, add a similar feature to other maps in a lesser form.

Never going to happen the going into the opposite direction with each game.

Hearthstone-->Shitty RNG clownfiesta

Hots-->Soak some levels then cluster after riptimer reaches 35 sec clownfiesta

Even with the most mobile heroes and perfect play you only manage you get 1-2 kills before you get killed yourself.

Blizzards goal is to make every retard feel like he has a chance at being good/winning.

It's actually a brilliant marketing strategy and I bet they pull in a lot of new consumers based off of retards telling their retarded friends about how much fun games are but it still kinda sucks for the non retards.
