"A player has disconnected."

I spend a minimum of 3 minutes searching for a hero league game. Then I find one, and a player disconnects. Or, even more infuriating, the pick process takes another 2+ minutes, and then someone disconnects.

Then *IF* the game gets to start, there's a 50/50 chance you get matched with terrible teammates.

There should be strict penalties for draft dodgers and AFK leavers.

The issue is there has been a lot of DDoS on Blizzard recently and you wouldn't want someone who disconnected from a draft because of a DDoS to be penalized.


If there was a way they could "turn off leaver penalties" during a DDoS, then it'd be nice, but I doubt it.


Either way:

Leaving draft by closing game client should be lose 1,000 points (fuck the QM penalty, no one cares, they just go AFK in a QM and come back at the end of the game).
Leaving a game due to inactivity should be 1,000 points loss and a 24 hour ban from HL


There's not place in the game for AFK players and that's the only way to truly burn a guy being a baby in a Master/Diamond game. Drop him a whole rank and kick him off hots for the night
