Your MMR isn't reset, the first games just have increased value.

MMR reset would kill the game because Master Diamond players get 4 worse players and getting back to Diamond+ will be an eternal grind.

yeah each season is a soft reset.....so i imagine if you get 2 soft resets applied without playing any games your mmr could tank down to retard levels.
