You're either playing at a time of day that is not populated with many players or you have a very high (or very low) mmr.

After 5 min you will be put into a party.

Longer QM queues are due to players picking the same heroes and some characters aren't popular.

yeah this could also be a reason if it's one of the F2P heroes or someone that is just insanely popular in QM.
