Only took 40 wins, I won my first 20 straight, it was then giving me +500 -90, all the way up to rank 3

At rank 3 i was gaining +300 -100, till rank 2, rank 2 was +100 -100

I got rank 1 in 7 days of playing

Right now, solo q to rank 1 typically puts you in the 2600-2800 MMR range (on hotslogs) which is around the top 15% of players. What rank 1 actually is supposed to be is the top 2% of players. Blizzard should be changing this with their next patch (that's what it sounded like they were planning when they announced the changes at gamescom). I think this is supposed to happen either tomorrow or next week when they do a sort reset of ranks (but not MMR).

Either way, grats on rank 1.

It is a joke, but welcome to the Rank 1 club. Some people think they're top 2% when they're rank #1 and it's hilarious. There are also multiple servers with other tons of Rank 1 Players. Yes, tons. Perhaps if one day JSP decided to form a team.. I know where we would find our healer

You can extrapolate the hotslogs data and it will show you that 3100 MMR is top 2% of players who are on hotslogs. Probably higher since there are so many players who don't know about hotslogs (which is either completely new players, or very low MMR casuals) and thus aren't registered on the site. Add in the fact that you need a certain amount of games before you can even get onto the leaderboards to be counted and you'll see that it is easy to infer where you place based off running the numbers and doing some simple math.

You like to talk shit on here but you are scared to post your battletag. Is that because you know your MMR is dirt league? Sure seems like it.

looks like i got about another 14.8% of climbing to do, shouldnt be hard as my mmr seems way higher than just fresh r1, 80% winrate will do that though

only looking to be top 2%ish anyway, guess we'll see how it goes

might have to start grouping w/ some1 when i get higher though, we'll see

Yeah if you can get to rank 1 with 80% win rate then top 2% shouldn't be too hard for you. I wonder what the percentile will be for GrandMaster (above rank 1) rank.

id assume .5% like WoW

but who knows, blizz caters to casuals so prolly be something easier

I dunno, GM in SC2 was reserved for the top 200 MMR players....and that shit took me a while to get. Gladiator wasn't really that hard in WoW though just play the meta....guess it could go either way really.
