He slows after death. He has a passive similar to Uther to where he stays in a spirit form after he dies.

When he is "killed" he gives the opposing team with the same XP as a normal kill would provide.

He remains in his undead state while he slowly heals back to "life" again. During this stage he is able to slow the enemies, and also use an ability to speed up his recovery. None of his attacks can do damage from his undead form, they are just to help him respawn faster, essentially.

I bought him, he was okay. Kind of boring, I'll keep him around as my "oh shit the other team chose all my heroes" backup. I've seen most people treat him like a Murky... They rush into a team 1v5, aggro out of position, get insta-poofed and then just float around waiting to respawn. Problem is, Murky is 1/4 EXP, he is full. Lot of Leoric's feeding exp today

Is he worth the $10 + exchange rate (Canada = 20-30% more cost) + tax = $15...

Watch some gameplay videos to determine if you think he's worth it.

I think leoric is worth the 15k gold I paid for him. I think the skins he comes with are pretty gay though.

I decided to buy him for $9.99 ($13 Canadian). A little steep, but he's 15k gold right now... allows me to put my gold on the butcher, and start saving for something else. I think that brings me up to about $25 or $30 spent on the game total, most things are unlocked.

It would've made more sense if Leoric's wall ultimate summoned skeletons within the wall... maybe as a level 20 ability, and level 10 it does the damage that level 20 does (scaled back based on level).

Hearthstone is a totally different story. Moneysink that game is...
