Anybody know why my friends that are both ranked higher and lower are getting like 200-350 rank points yet I'm only getting 80-90

Played like 6 games last night.
Won them all and my watched my friends go from rank 32-27 and 20-16 (roughly)
While I'm getting fucked over gaining one level 25-24

That would make sense since my wins/loss is pretty even. Does that mean that MMR has nothing to do with the rank you are?
Cause I'm not sure how the lower ranked dude could have a higher MMR

Yep you can enter rank 50 at a like 3k MMR and get about 400 points per game until you reach mid teens.
I got about 300 per win until level 25, now I get 90 a win and 130 a loss.

Well that sucks. I guess I completely fucked myself by playing solo too much.
I should just wait for the season to end at this point lol.

Yeah I noticed that too late aswell, I hit a nice streak and kept playing solo hoping i'd keep the bonus but then it went away after a loss and haven't seen more than like +40

I'm at a 72% win rate on HL and my twin is 51% gets 300-350 and I get 60 lol

Game has a few glitches, it will be fixed I am sure.

Your mmr is bad, Ive been getting 400+ pts per game and im rank 3 losing maybe 100 on a bad game 50 on avg. Currently 3K+ mmr

Just like in league, the 10ish first game determine where your MMR is. Means they won most of their placement and have high MMR, more points to have the rank that match with it.
