Being in games against someone I knew added a bit of extra spice for me.
Im not a great player but at least the matches are nice a competitive at this tier (most of them). Much better than back when I was 2300 MMR rank 12 or w.e
The season made it fun again for me. I have a goal again - to get Master. At rank 1 in the old system there was no progression.
But yeah I noticed ur dmg was at 2k at one point and figured u were slacking :p

i mean, i definitely enjoyed playing vs someone that I knew "outside" of battle.net but the fact that my team won 4v5 all game made it really stale. The next game was better I think cause at least I had to do something.
Pretty sure bottom of master is only gonna be around 3k mmr....which is kinda retarded IMO. I think gm should be like 3800+ and master should start at 3500 mmr. I noticed last season that 3500 mmr was around where people stopped being fully retarded. Most were still half retarded but it was a noticeable improvement.
games will be more fun when the skill difference between bottom and top players in a given high mmr match isn't so huge. Game would also be better if it gave pick order by MMR.
