If you play competive Butcher is only picked to prevent Marksmen or other skill damage Pushing.
In low MMR you will always find noobs to kill in 1 on 1.

Tass is a pretty powerful character right now after the 5 sec cooldown(and the best character to cheat with).
In low levels you should have it to counter Zera/Nova. But always expect somebody picking a 2nd healer.

Leoric is strong but can easily turn into a full experience murky in low level mmr.

Tyrande requires you to understand where to aim so you can stun. There are easy targets and some pretty difficult ones.
Similar issue in low mmr(expect a second healer)



On low mmr you should look for characters which can escape teamfights, tankiness/dmg output or synergize well with others.

Also check for different builds. Some characters like Kael are pretty stale and have only 2 build types. Others are more flexible.
You can also expect major changes on the stale buil characters in future. Some revive a character like Tass others destroy a character like BW(the TLV destruction patch)

Anyway, while watching the HTC Heroes Brawl today I continued to repeatedly see Tassidar being either a first pick or a first ban in almost every single match.

Someone was kind enough to share links of Team Blaze (relatively new to the pro scene, but pretty good players) 2-0 Tempo Storm (One of the top teams in NA) draft picks.

As you can see they drafted Tass with their FIRST pick both games...and they beat the (at the time) #2 team in North America 2-0 with him.

Also, according to many of the top ranked casters (Like Grubby, Artosis, Tasteless) K1pro is the TOP Tyrande player in the world. If you look into the games, 7 of the 9 times Tyrande was first ban it was vs him.....hmmmm....do you see a correlation there?
