Leo is definitely not as tanky as Mura or Joh, but the point is I have both Joh and Mura so I have super tanks if I need to choose one.

If you can't soak as much damage as johanna or muradin then you are probably playing leoric wrong. Do you take the 25% damage reduction talent at level 4? The self heal at 7? Spellshield/Imposing presence (Depending on team comp) at 13/16 respectively?

This is zuna's build and if you read his guide he explains why it is optimal for leoric to play (mega tank) this way.


Also, if you miss your W then you are kinda screwed for the next 12 seconds...so that may be why you don't feel he is that tanky.

He is certainly able to be built very tanky, the only thing that was said is that he isn't as tanky as Joh or Mura. But once again, that wasn't really the issue. I needed an alternate hero for a dive comp. That was the discussion. And I was most interested in choosing either Leo or Butcher for a dive comp.

uhhh. If you are looking for a dive comp hero why not try Illidan or Tyrael?

I already posted that I wanted an alternate to Illidan. I wanted more DPS and am going between Butcher and Leo.

Leoric isn't DPS. That just leaves Butcher.
