i've seen so many people who carried preseason mmr until now and are like 45-48% in masters lol
i started playing this season for fun see how hero league is compared to preseason when i used to play and the game obv improved a bit still needs alot of work specialy in hero league to many shitters in master league i dont understand people with negative win/lose that are master makes no sense to me
also game population is extremely low i play with the same people very often
Game population issues are Blizzard's own fault.
The game is segregated into so many sections. QM, Unranked, Brawls, AI, HL, TL... and then there is HGC which removes like the top 75 players from each region from ranked play.
And then there are Chair leagues and stuff that remove the other top several hundred.
There was a point last week where I was in a game with TrikSlyr like 9 times in a row. It was like the same 7-8 players for 4 hours in all my games. Might as well have been custom scrims.
QM is dead content designed for people who want to watch TV while they level a hero in random potato comps. Remove QM, keep unranked.
And yeah, without decay this game is a joke.
Was playing on my shitter plat account today (main still silenced) and almost every single game there was a player who stood out as VERY weak.. and sure enough it was always either a smurf or someone who plays 10 ranked games per season and the quits for 10 weeks.
For every 2 or 3 weeks of inactivity from ranked play your MMR should decay like 3-5%.
Today I saw the following situation:
Guy reached rank 22 in pre-season (like gold? Not good).
Didnt play season 1 at all, didnt play season 2 at all. Came back for season 3, had a 27-37 record and had a high rank of Diamond 3.
So basically some gold shitter from pre-seasom came back after 6-7 months off and was placed at Diamond 3... how does that even work
