I was Diamond 2 ish when Pre Season ended so being D1 right now isnt a stretch.

Its been 75-150 games for most people. By the end of Season 1 positions will be more well established and Season 2 will be less of a luck fest early on.

I was joking about the feed but yeah, I agree with you about the fact that eventually people will get where they belong.

The problem though is people get rewards based off of their top placement....and IIRC your top ranking is tracked on the bnet website...What that means is a 3k mmr shitty retard from preseason who just wins games early will be top 20 GM at the start.....where some of the best players in NA may never get to top 20 GM. It's stupid.


There was a reddit post with the first EU grandmaster player being pointed out as a 3k mmr nazeebo only player......He will forever have his top placement as #1 GM for season 1. That's retarded.

Rewards for being high ranked don't mean shit if the plebs can get them too. It's like in WoW when they made dungeons ez mode so the retards could get the epic loot.....literally hundreds of thousands of hardcore players quit, myself included, because there is no point in being a part of a top 100 world guild and raiding 20 hours a week when any moron can get the same loot as you.

Yeah, even now his avg MMR games are like 2200-2500.....so he's probably duoing with a plat 5 person while hes diamond so he can get boosted up to master.

the systems just fucking stupid. Noobs get promoted and good players don't because their internal MMR is much higher than their rank, meaning they have way more difficult games.

The only way to bypass this is to duo with another really high MMR player so you basically get every game where your team is favored.

Yeah fuck this BS. I am literally swinging from D2 to P1 and need 1 more game to win and end up missing only really few points for a promotion game.

The 4th one I picked crap left the game and game back 15 min later.

Maybe the way to solve part of the issue is to remove GM for the first X amount of time each season. Maybe all players can only achieve master for first 3 weeks and then the top 500 master players after 21 days become GM

Or to require 150+ games played to unlock Grand Master each season. 150 games isnt a ton, but it should remove a lot of the luck factor from the situation.

I mean I got GM after like 40 games and lost it 2 games later. Since then ive never left D1. Ive lost 8 promotion games in a row and won 5 demotions in a row.
