Yeah, everyone knows that Rank 1 is a joke. That's because Rank 1 is literally more than 2% of the entire ranked playerbase.....so obviously it isn't very exclusive. A new ranking system is being implemented in the coming months with Master/GM added which will make the game a lot more rewarding for high tiered players. You don't have to worry about that though because you couldn't get GM even in HotS.

daneski, top 60 challenger league player with years of MOBA experience was not even rank 1 2 weeks after playing ranked in HotS (http://www.hotslogs.com/Player/MatchHistory?PlayerID=3786003) but now he is literally top 20 in all NA.

Where you start doesn't matter shitter, it's where you end up. Where did you end up? Oh yeah, an unrecognized nobody in both games LOL.
