Why would they remove talent gating? I think it's a good way to introduce players to different builds and encouraging them to experiment.

Isn't talent gating in reference to the restriction of talents at early levels? If you're restricting options, then you arent encouraging experimentation you're funneling

i agree, forcing them to experiment. But knowledge of heroes is important. I liked it. .. But I played a lot and got heroes to 5, fast. :p

I think the logic behind it is to give players free reign over what they take...with the assumption that people will naturally want to experiment (Maybe not always, but frequently).

I know a lot of people complain about the talent gating as they just don't like it which I'm sure is also a factor.
