I don't know how you play Leoric but I am level 15 with him and have a 60% win rate with 100 Leoric Hero League games played at 3.1k MMR
I lane clear/bully early game, and depending on map I also roll with my team to secure objectives. Half the time on Blackwater Bay I also afk farm coins...just depends on if I can get away with it or not.
Something I never do is try split pushing/solo pushing down a fort. I also typically don't die more than 2-3 times...sometimes less.
There are probably other ways of playing him but I feel like this is the most effective way. I also noticed that when I lose to a leoric (fairly rare since I almost always get him) he plays this way as well.
I'm just saying the reduced damage to buildings steals away some burst to a quick couple of tower kills, among other plays. The revive time matters, that's a huge mechanic.
