ok little update: i'm kinda doing bad EVERY game and people are always flaming at me (telling me to kill myself irl etc.)

Pick an easy hero or any hero you're comfortable with and stick with that one for a while. Look up builds online for certain heroes and try new ones out and learn to adjust them depending on the game.

Also find a group of friends to play with, communication makes this game so much smoother.

This. I was never much into MOBAs so when I started at HotS I decided to pick one hero to play until I was more familiar with the maps, objectives, lane positions, etc.

LIke Crazy said, pick one hero to "master" and play only that hero. Read some guides while you're on the can, look up the best builds depending on the opposing teams composition and just get used to playing that hero. Once you get in the habit of proper positioning, proper button combos, and proper objective capturing you can open up to more than one hero.

Play vs AI until you can comfortably carry (top siege/hero dmg frequently) then go into QM again.

quick tip #1 - map objectives are most important. minion camps and team fights are pretty important. laning is not important after your team is level 5.
