Goes to show Hotslogs is inaccurate though.

After seeing this evidence I have to conclude that there is some sort of MMR decay going on with hots that hotslogs doesn't account for.

If it is similar to SC2 (Which is likely is since they said they use the same matchmaker) then you start to lose MMR after 2 weeks of not playing.


With that being said, this is ONLY true for top 200 MMR players. This system wasn't part of master league or lower.

My teammates have played both the same amount of games, and have been in every team league game together

Both players have a 90% winrate and 108 games.

But..

They are #136, and the other is #69.

This doesn't make sense.

Both 3750-3800 MMR TL.

But LOL. I'm 3450 MMR TL and #35.

Hotslogs is officially inaccurate as fuck.

Also I've beaten Jeleto numerous amounts of times. In HL.
This is because when he duo's the Match making system is so fucked and literally gives him rank 25-40 or level 30-40 when we play against eachother, and I end up winning because I focus the inexperienced player(s) over Jeleto/allstarz.

But it also has to do with what time you play, and the preferred coast (server)

nope. My buddy TonePhone is over 4k MMR for TL, and was around #30 last month. He didn't hardly play within the last 30 days and he decayed pretty far.

I also hardly played last month, and overall I improved my MMR by around 200 points. I even beat a team that had multiple players from the top 10 TL MMR (According to both hotslogs and Blizzard) this past month, and I did it with relatively low MMR teammates so we got a TON of points.

Despite that, and winning ~10 out of 11 games this past month...my Blizzard MMR has decayed.

But I can see how a low MMR player like yourself would want to discredit hotslogs. Fear not, GM is coming soon....and for the only thing that matters (HL) you will not be on it.

You can't say that I am some scrub who got carried and bought multiple accounts (I am still waiting for proof of this, by the way) and also say that I am good enough to play competitively.

Also, if you refer to my thread last month regarding Team League top 200 you will see that not only did I explain how silly and irrelevant it is (Because if you Q as 5 rank 1 players 90% of the time you are playing vs 2200 mmr scrubs and just farming free points off of them) but you actually even admitted that TL doesn't matter.

I made this statement when I was #62 in TL and you were, IIRC ~#170. Now I am #64 (Due to MMR Decay) and you are #35 (Due to good players rarely playing TL cause it's less challenging than even quick match) and suddenly you are acting as if Team League ranking means anything.

The only thing that even comes close to mattering, and the only thing that any competitive team cares about, is Hero League. In Hero league I am #127 in NA. In Hero league you are not even ranked, because you are bad.

It must suck being a deaf lonely disabled kid living with mommy and daddy. Honestly, if you didn't adopt this douchebag persona on these forums I would feel bad for you. Hell, I would of even considered accepting one of your MANY friend requests that you send my way (usually 2 a month).

Good players play Team League. It's about the time of day, the server (coast), and who you play with.

I could easily get 3400 MMR by taking advantage of the match making system like I have been in the last week.
The games are more fun, too.

3K MMR -> 3.2K MMR in literally 2 days.
