Leoric is still #1 warrior (in most cases) and usually Johanna comes in a close second though.

You just gotta mass games and you'll figure everything out....it's no different than league minus the fact that it is much more difficult to carry.

A team that gets Leoric + Johanna is very hard to deal with. Demand it in Draft Select.

I am 26-3 with leoric and have around a 90% win rate playing with all 3k MMR++ TL players (Meaning wins give me 20 points and losses take away 100-300 points) overall. I haven't played TL in weeks. It's not fun. Literally every one of my losses are from me and my friends screwing around.
