thread deviated to all factual news about HotS.



Will I still have my Heroes and Skins on the PTR?

Yes. Any purchases you’ve made in Heroes of the Storm thus far will be available for use on the PTR, including your Heroes, Mounts, and Skins. Additionally, the same free-to-play Hero Rotation that’s available in the current version of the game will also be available on the PTR.

However, please note that the in-game Shop will be disabled during this phase of the PTR, and you will be unable to make any purchases using real money or Gold.

What about my level progress and Gold?

Your Hero and Player Levels, Gold, progression rewards, and any other content you’ve unlocked in Heroes of the Storm thus far will not transfer over to the PTR. Additionally, Hero and Player Levels, Gold, rewards, and other content unlocks you earn on the PTR will not transfer over to the current version of the game when the PTR is closed.

PTR stands for public testing realm

They also do the same for D3 and stuff
They are giving players a chance to test out the immense number of changes they are implementing

Abathur - Evolution Master

[W] Toxic Nest - Now deals 336 (51 + 15 per level) damage. (Up from 336 (50 + 15 per level))
Talent Changes

[13] Bombard Strain - Long-range siege attack now deals 66.67% more damage (Up from 66%).
Azmodan

[D] Bound Minion - NEW - "Using General of Hell on a Lane Minion decreases the non-Heroic damage they take by 75% and increases the damage they deal to non-Heroic targets by 100%. Lasts 30 seconds."
[D] Bound Minion - OLD - "Using General of Hell on a Lane Minion increases the Minion's damage by 100% and its Health by 300% for 30 seconds."
Brightwing - Faerie Dragon

[D] Soothing Mist - Now heals nearby allies for 175 (32.5 + 7.5 per level) (Down from 216 (45 + 9 per level).
[D] Soothing Mist - Now heals every 4 seconds (Down from 5).

[Q] Arcane Flare - Inner Circle now deals 300 (91 + 11 per level) damage (Down from 470 (90 + 20 per level)).
[Q] Arcane Flare - Outer Circle now deals 200 (48 + 8) damage (Down from 235 (45 + 10 per level)).

[W] Polymorph - No longer deals damage (Down from 125 (30 + 5 per level)).
[W] Polymorph - Now slows target movespeed by 20%, and disables attacks and abilities for 1.5 seconds (Down from 2 seconds).
Talent Changes

[1] Arcane Precision - Inner Area damage increased by 50% (Up from 33%).

[1] Hyper Shift - NEW - Hyper Shift Every time you heal a Hero with Soothing Mist, reduce the cooldown of Phase Shift by 2 seconds.

[1] Unfurling Spray - NEW - Increases Soothing Mist's range by 33.3% .

[4] Arcane Barrage - NEW - Increases the range of Arcane Flare by 50% .

[4] Manic Pixie - NEW - When Soothing Mist heals an ally with Pixie Dust on them, they heal for an additional 230 ( 40 + 10 per level) over 4 seconds.

[4] Peekaboo! - NEW - Phase Shifting to an ally grants vision and reveals cloakers in a large area for 6 seconds.

[4] Unstable Anomaly - NEW - When Polymorph ends, deal 250 ( 60 + 10 per level) damage to the target and all nearby enemies.

[7] Dream Shot - NEW - Reduces the cooldown of Arcane Flare by 1 second for each enemy Hero hit by the outer radius, and 3 seconds for each hit by the inner radius.

[7] Mistified - NEW - Reduces the cooldown of Soothing Mist by 1 second every time you cast a Basic Ability.

[7] Phase Shield - Shield now lasts 20 seconds (Up from 3).

[13] Pixie Boost - NEW - Pixie Dust now gives 50% bonus Move Speed, decaying to 20% over 1.5 seconds.

[13] Sticky Flare - Now slows movespeed by 40% (Up from 30%) for 2 seconds (Down from 3).

[16] Bouncy Dust - NEW - Pixie Dust bounces to another nearby ally upon impact.

[16] Greater Polymorph - NEW - Increases the duration of Polymorph by 1 second.

[20] Double Wyrmhole - NEW - Blink Heal can be cast a second time on a different target within 2 seconds without consuming a charge.

[20] Revitalizing Mist - NEW - Healing another Hero with Soothing Mist increases their healing received from Soothing Mist by 25% for 6 seconds. Stacks 3 times.
Diablo

Devastating Charge - No longer reduces the duration of Polymorph by 50%.
Illidan - The Betrayer

[R] Metamorphosis - Now deals 100 (24 + 4 per level) damage (Down from 400 (210 + 10 per level)).
Johanna - Crusader of Zakarum

[E] Shield Glare - Enemies now miss all basic attacks (Up from 2) for 1.5 seconds (Down from over 4 seconds).
Kael'thas - The Sun King

[W] Living Bomb - Cooldown is now 8 seconds (Down from 10).
Li Li - World Wanderer

[E] Blinding Wind - Enemies now miss all basic attacks (Up from 2) for the next 2 seconds (Down from 4).
Talent Changes

[4] Lingering Blind - Increases duration of Blinding Wind by 50% (previously increased the number of missed attacks).

[20] Kung Fu Hustle - Abilities now recharge two and a half times faster (Down from three) while Fast Feet is active.
Malfurion - Archdruid

[D] Innervate - Now gives 15% of an allied hero maximum mana (was 100 mana).
[D] Innervate - Now gives mana over 5 seconds (Down from over 10 seconds)

[Q] Regrowth - Now costs 60 mana (Down from 75)
[Q] Regrowth - Now heals 294 (54.6 + 12.6 per level) instantly (Up from 280 (52 + 12 per level)).
[Q] Regrowth - Now heals an additional 735 (136.5 + 31.5 per level) over time (Up from 700 (130 + 30 per level)).

[E] Entangling Roots - Mana cost is now 65 (Down from 75), cooldown is now 10 seconds (Down from 12)
Talent Changes

[1] Harmony - NEW - If Moonfire hits a target, reduce the Mana cost of Regrowth by 10 .

[1] Moonburn - Moonfire's damage to minions and mercenaries increased by 100% (previously dealt 30% more damage to non-Heroic targets).

[1] Shan'do's Clarity - Only reduces cooldown of Innervate, and no longer grants mana twice as fast.

[4] Elune's Grace - Increases the range of Regrowth, Moonfire and Entangling Roots by 30% (was 2).

[4] Rampant Growth - NEW - Rampant Growth Increases the initial heal of Regrowth by 20% .

[4] Vengeful Roots - Treant now lasts 10 seconds (Down from 12)

[4] Versatile - Innervate returns 25% of maximum mana (previously gave attack speed and could be used on non-mana using Heroes).

[13] Full Moonfire - Moonfire radius increased by 60% (Up from 50%) and mana cost reduced to 50% (previously reduced by 10).

[13] Life Seed - Cooldown increased to 20 seconds (Up from 15)

[16] Hindering Moonfire - Now slows targets movespeed by 25% (Up from 20%) for 2 seconds.

[16] Lunar Shower - Now increases the damage of following Moonfires by 15% (Up from 10%).
Nova - Dominion Ghost

[D] Permanent Cloak, Sniper - Now specifies using abilities removes you from stealth.
Rehgar - Shaman of the Earthen Ring

[R] Ancestral Healing - Cooldown is now 70 seconds. (Up from 60)
Talent Changes

[1] Colossal Totem - Now increases are an range of Earthbind Totem by 50% (previously increased area and health).

[1] Empowering Charge - Now increases the damage of basic attacks by 30% (Up from 25%)

[4] Feral Heart - Increases Health and Mana regen by 75% (Down from 100%) while in Ghost Wolf form.

[4] Shadow Wolf - Stealth now lasts for 4.125 seconds (Up from 2).

[4] Stormcaller - Reduces mana cost by 40% (Down from 50%) and increases duration by 2 seconds (previously reduced cooldown by 2 seconds).

[7] Earth Shield - Shield now blocks 435 (93 + 18 per level) damage (Down from 520 (121 + 21 per level)).

[7] Forward Momentum - Now reduces Basic Ability cooldowns by 1 second (previously reduced all ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds).

[10] Ancestral Healing - Cooldown increased to 70 seconds (Up from 60).

[13] Reactive Spark - Now also reduces the cooldown by 3 seconds.

[16] Earthgrasp Totem - 100% increased cast range removed, 90% slow for 1 second kept.

[16] Tidal Waves - NEW - Reduces Chain Heal's cooldown by 3 seconds if it heals 3 Heroes.
Sonya - Wandering Barbarian

[W] Seismic Slam - Now deals 105 (29 + 4 per level) damage to enemies behind the target (Up from 90 (28.25 + 3.25 per level)).
Stitches - Terror of Darkshire

[W] Slam - Mana cost reduced to 45 (Down from 55).

[E] Devour - Mana cost reduced to 65 (Down from 75) and cooldown reduced to 24 (Down from 30).
Sylvanas - The Banshee Queen

[R] Possession - NEW - Uses a Charge mechanic now - 7 charges, 12 sec cooldown on each.
[R] Possession - NEW - Costs 5 charges to convert a Catapult Minion.
[R] Possession - Now gives possessed minion just 20% attack damage (previously also gave 20% bonus health).

[R] Wailing Arrow - Now deals 500 (158 + 18 per level) damage (Down from 600 (220 + 20)).
Talent Changes

[20] Dark Lady's Call - NEW - Now increases maximum number of charges by 3 and decreases recharge time by 4 seconds.

The Lost Vikings - Triple Trouble

[Trait] Viking Hoard - Trait Gathering a Regeneration Globe with a Viking permanently increases all their Health Regeneration by 0.5 per second. Current Bonus: 1.5 Regen per second

[Q] Norse Force! - Shield now blocks from 240 (50 + 10 per level) to 480 (100 + 20 per level) damage. (Down from 500 (120 + 20 per level) to 1000 (240 + 40 per level)).
[Q] Norse Force! - Cooldown is now 30 seconds (Down from 60) and duration is now 4 seconds (Down from 7).

[Q] Spin To Win! - Now deals 222 (51 + 9 per level) damage (Down from 250 (60 + 10 per level)).
[Q] Spin To Win!- Cooldown is now 10 seconds (Down from 12).

[W] Nordic Attack Squad - NEW - Cooldown: 30 seconds. Activate to have all Viking Basic Attacks deal bonus damage equal to 1% of a Hero's maximum Health for 5 seconds.

[E] Viking Bribery - NEW - Kill enemy Minions to gain stacks of Viking Bribery. Use 40 stacks to bribe target Mercenary, instantly defeating them. Does not work on Bosses. Maximum stacks available: 100. Current number of Viking Bribery stacks:

[R] Longboat Raid! - Now deals 245 (36 + 11 per level) damage (Down from 310 (44 + 14 per level)).
[R] Longboat Raid! - Duration increased to 15 seconds (Up from 12).
Talent Changes

[1] Explosive Attacks - NEW - Explosive Attacks Increases Baleog’s splash damage against non-Heroic enemies to 100% .

[1] Spy Games - Erik now gains Stealth after standing still for 3 seconds (Down from 5).

[1] Viking Bribery - Viking Bribery Kill enemy Minions to gain stacks of Bribe. Use 40 stacks to bribe target Mercenary, instantly defeating them. Does not work on Bosses. Maximum stacks available: 100 .

[1] Viking Hoard - Initial health regen per second increased to 1.5 (Up from 1).

[4] Erik the Swift - Now also permanently increases Erik's base movement speed by 10%.

[4] It's a Sabotage! - Now also deals 300 (110 + 10 per level) damage over 10 seconds

[4] Pain Don't Hurt - Now the 20% healing effect is doubled against Heroes.

[13] Nordic Attack Squad - Nordic Attack Squad Cooldown: 30 seconds Activate to have all Viking Basic Attacks deal bonus damage equal to 1% of a Hero's maximum Health for 5 seconds.

[20] Fury of the Storm - Now specifies each Viking has its own cooldown.
Tychus

Melting Point - Now deals 800 (230 + 30 per level) damage over time to minions and structures (Down from 1120 (170 + 50)).
Tyrael - Archangel of Justice

[R] Judgment - Now specifies you must target an enemy Hero.
Zagara

Infest - NEW - Now deals 400% more damage only against non-Heroic targets.
Zeratul - Dark Prelate

[D] Permanent Cloak - Now specifies using abilities will break you out of Stealth.

[13] Assassin's Blade - Now specifies the attack damage increase is for Basic Attacks.
Multi-Hero

Blood for Blood - Now deals 10% of target enemy Hero's Max Health (Down from 15%).
Blood for Blood - NEW - Heals for twice that amount.

Conjurer's Pursuit - NEW - Increases Mana Regeneration by 0.1 per second per Regeneration Globe gathered (previously required 3 globes to gain 0.25).

Envenom - Now deals damage every second for 10 seconds (Up from 5).
Now deals 68.04 (16.36 + 2.72 per level) damage per second (Down from 125 (30 + 5 per level))..

Protective Shield - NEW - Now shield allied Hero for 15% their max Health (previously shielded for a fixed amount).

Regeneration Master - NEW - Increases Health Regeneration by 1.5 per globe collected (previously required 3 globes to increase Health Regen by 4).

Spell Shield - Now reduces Ability Damage by 50% for 3 seconds (Up from 2).

Promote - OLD - Activate to give target allied lane minion +300% Health and +100% damage for 30 seconds.
Promote - NEW -Activate to cause an allied lane minion to take 75% reduced damage from non-Heroic targets and deal 100% bonus damage to non-Heroic targets for 30 seconds.

Relentless - NEW - No longer reduces the duration of Polymorph by 50%.
