There are chances that they don't speak english. In that case you can choose for sending a letter to them. If you want I can translate it into dutch. The advantages of a letter are that they are not overwhelmed at the moment like a phonecall will be, next to that it's cheaper for you and they have a moment to do some research perhaps in the family. Disadvantage is that it is possible they put the letter on a pile and forget about it..
But did you use www.telefoongids.nl? using that service comes up zero for me with Venninckx names.. only Vennink (but this does not mean the name isnt use offcourse, but only it isnt commonly used and people who use it aren't registered in the phonebook.)
EDIT: I have to apologize, I see that the service of the telefoongids is acting weird when you select the netherlands as a whole when searching. it comes up zero, but when I select f.e. Venlo I get 7 hits

so Venninckx is probably more common than I thought. That would mean that getting in touch with your relatives will become a bit harder.. do you know where your nana and opa were born? Perhaps you can contact the city by emial or something..
