Well, it's because everyone paid $9 instead of $10, but the dollar didn't go to any one person. It's $0.33 to every person.

Why? because you have to re-factor the fact that the employee kept $2.

There's no other place the dollar can go. It never went out of the pockets, subsidized, from every renter.
