Feels odd given the popularity of the game that there's no section for it.
There's MMORPGs that are essentially somewhat dead like Rappelz (RIP Rappelz, loved that game) that have a section.
Forums could be about aUEC trading, ship trading, missions, bounties, etc.

isn't that the game that has been in game dev limbo scamming people for nearly a decade?

and the CEO used crowd funding money to buy a mansion?

Management-aside, which, agreed has been disastrous, I'm not really sure why this prohibits people that are already playing the game from trading with one another? It's not a scam. Rip off, maybe to some. The game is there and playable and being worked on. Yes, the progress is far too slow and deserves to be frowned upon but it's still happening and the cargo refactor and ship salvage game loop just hit PTU.

Errr, I mean, he lives in a ranch in Austin Texas. Unsure what your standards are for what a "mansion" is but wouldn't call what I saw from the pictures a mansion.

Kind of confused, this website is based on Diablo 2, Blizzard has literally been under sexual assault investigations for years and their CEO threatened to kill people.
Kind of weird to try to take the moral highroad considering Activision-Blizz's lifelong folder of depravity. The pot calling the kettle black.

the "house" was bought for $4.7 million, and the guy used $ from crowdfunding to buy it lol

d2 devs were never apart of any sexual assault investigation, so i don't see the moral high ground point.

don't defend this crap man, this isn't how development is supposed to be. you don't crowd fund a game for almost a decade and buy a mansion with the $, and continue to sell false hope and string people that are interested in your game along.

"It's okay because the devs didn't directly do it, only the people above them" is a fucking wild take considering you're taking the CEO of a 200+ employee company and HIS wrongdoings and applying it to the devs too. MAJOR hypocrisy.

I mean I'm glad it doesn't make it okay for me to trade with other Star Citizen folks because of management issues with the game I guess.

I guess it won't happen, kind of funny that lies about a 4.7 million dollar house are still spread around despite 0 proof of anything as it all stemmed from some meme written in Arial font.

Fair enough, cheers.

Kind of surprising given they still have 400k+ active players.

It's like saying about the the beginning of PoE days when Chris Wilson and the dev team were asking for support from players, then right before release they went and bought a mansion and just left the game to release with slow updates. That's not what happened, they used all that money and poured fuel on the fire and accelerated the development.

When you defend this, all it does is allow future devs more wiggle room to pull off this toxic behavior, and ultimately is a slap in the face to future players

As I said, you can't find any proof of any of this and you can't refute anything I say.
Case closed. :locked:

I didn't know Star Citizen players having a place to trade would impact people in such an emotional and existential matter.
