There are some Bnet tags which often pop up in the SA forum. Maybe it would be of some help to have a function to search by Btag, or some list of such at the very least. Of course best would be to use moderators for valuable trades, but a quick btag check would save a lot of time and also make smaller trades safer.

the point is the game is communicated through pm... if someone adds you on bnet and claims they're someone.. never believe them.

Yep, that definitely makes sense.

The database of scamming btags would cover other cases. The scammer may be hiding behind multiple d2jsp accounts, and he may send you a real game/password.

In other cases, the d2jsp account gets hacked and the scammer will go on a buying spree, to spend all your fg.

Exactly what I was thinking.

You can type a battle tag into the search bar within the scammer accusation forums and it will show any threads where the battle tag is mentioned.
