As the topic says, i beleive 2fa is absolutely necessary, and i wont be using this site until you get it, though i probably wont be using it again regardless. I lost almost all my fg to a hacker a few hours ago, over 26k.
Personally i know i could have taken some step to avoid this, though im still not exactly sure of how i got the keylogger. I will likely never play d2 again and i doubt i will have further need of whats left of my fg.
However, for those users who desire a more secure platform, i hope the developers will start to care. There are zero acceptable excuses for the lack of 2fa, in my opinion.
I realize the liability is on me here, but hindsight is 20/20 and i think the devs should use this as a solution going forward.

Unhelpful. Are you a developer for this site?

Yes, i read all that, including the poll thank you.
Im suggesting that the devs consider it, soon. Whether they do or not, i really dont think I care anymore. But for other users i think this is an obvious move. In fact, its suspicious that 2fa HASNT been implemented.

While I totally agree with 2fa and the implementation, the admins aren't considering it. They strongly believe a 2nd password to login is good enough, even though a keylogger makes it completely useless.

What's your basis that they don't care about security? And also what's the argument for needing 2FA for a forum when it already has a gold password? You're logging on a gaming forum, not a bank

Why are you so apposed to it?

Im suggesting more security, youre suggesting less. Why is that i wonder?

I'm suggesting less, where? Sure, let's get 2FA, a pin, logout timer after xx inactivity, etc. I'm sure it'll help increase the UX of a blazing fast forum trading experience.

I only suggested a 2fa. You obviously fail to understand how a keylogger circumvents both passwords simulteniously, meaning two is not better than one. Is that not obvious? Lol.
Anyway, you arent a dev, and your comments are literally pointless.

2fa would undoubtedly increase security and improve user experience.
