I'm certainly no expert in coding, but surely there is some way to not be able to post on a topic within 4 hours. Early bumps happen all the time and mods probably have more important things to do than close those topics.
Is there not a way to make you unable to add a reply in certain areas if 4 hours haven't passed?

Please use the report feature. All reports are reviewed by our moderator team. Just because you do not see action taken against an account, doesn’t mean that action wasn’t taken. PM a trade moderator if you have further issues or questions.

I understand the report feature. I didn't say anything wasn't being done about it. This is a spot for suggestions, no? I'm not sure if something like this is possible but seems like a good idea to me.

How about cases where they ask about an item or communicate with the buyer/seller? That's gonna be a big if statement
