For the trading forums or specifically the d2r trading forums:
Say Someone is offering a Ber rune for 200fg

Usually to know if this is a good price, I have to use the search bar and look at other posts to see the current prices for Ber runes

If you guys made the "find similar posts" button" it would be very helpful:

1/ For everyone to look for similar posts for that particular item. (and find people looking for OR selling that particular item.)

2/ Make trading smooth and fair.

3/ Reduce the quantity of price checking posts.

4/ Make trading an enjoyable experience.

Thanks for reading.

Wouldn't find similar posts literally be the same as the search bar with the keyword of the item you're looking for?

I fail to see any differences honestly, unless there's something I'm missing.

1) Search bar
2) Search bar does that / It's D2jsp. Scammers and multis left and right. Basically everyone screen records every trade for a reason. It's only enjoyable if you find the right person/people. An option to find similar posts does nothing to accomplish that.
3) Price check posts are useful and people who don't want to/won't use the search bar thus a solid stream of price check threads still happening. Also, some offers/sales are thru PM as well so seeing an offer in a post isn't necessarily an accurate pricecheck.
4) It's D2jsp. Scammers and multis left and right. Basically everyone screen records every trade for a reason. It's only enjoyable if you find the right person/people. An option to find similar posts does nothing to accomplish that.
Not trying to be a dick but that's the current conclusion I'm coming to on each part there.

I see where you're coming from Besh, but the search bar does a clear job. Adding the button would reduce steps for searching but it doesn't streamline enough to be worth adding.

I am going to answer you because you clearly got my point. That other guy didn't, at all. No offense.

It would reduce steps. Exactly. There would be no need to open a new window and exit your current thread to search.

I moved to Asia a few years ago, and I can tell you this: the system already exists here on a lot of apps that I use AND even goes on another level on some, example: you can make your app scan a picture of a t shirt and find you all similar t shirts to buy. Haven't been to North America in a few years so maybe you guys have it as advanced as it is here. Anyways, this one step button thing is exactly that. Time saving and the result is all similar products that you can list by price.

If this can be done here, it would make trading a lot more efficient.

But hey, you have a point. It might not be enough to be worth adding on here. That is nonetheless my suggestion.
