Requesting / Suggesting that a Sticky post be made containing conditions to protect buyers and drive ratio price competition.

Lost Ark d2jsp

The trade environment in the Lost Ark subforum is one of smoke and mirrors.
The overwhelming majority of sellers do not openly state price ratios and request that you post/pm asking for the rates before doing business with you.
They will NEVER answer with rates in their thread and react very poorly if you then post their ratio after you learn it via PM.
Additionally, you are discouraged from posting trade information in these threads also, including any statement confirming that a trade did occur ( t4t etc..)
........You ask why? Because they dont want you asking those people what rate they were traded at, keeping you from knowing what your forum gold can purchase / increasing the chance you take a poor ratio since prices are secret.

You can pick any thread and 99.9% of the time you will find no price information at all but here are some examples:

Honestly its not an open market if basically every seller is making every buyer wear a blindfold / ear plugs / given a flashlight that has dead batteries / hands tied behind your back / in a cave / with the sun destroyed.
Im sure its wonderful for the sellers who are doing a wonderful job avoiding competition with each other and fixing prices as they see fit, but for buyers its a hostile shadow market where no one really knows what the current rate is supposed to be unless they pm each and every single seller to find the best ratio.
If you post that you're looking to buy and maybe even buy thousands worth ( you would think all these sellers would be on that fast if there are so many of them ) but if you dare have the audacity to ask for ratios to be posted instead of pm'd... lol you will be ignored by 99% of the market.

I ask / suggest that sale posts cannot ask you to PM for price/ratio and any sell agreement must be posted in the thread stating the ratio to be traded like every other trade is supposed to be handled on d2jsp.
This will keep the buyer safe incase of scam since the trade agreement post is in the public view and let people know what their stock / forum gold is worth to the market preventing people from being ripped off by dishonest merchants.
Its super frustrating coming from D2 where prices are easily found and the market open.

Alternatively, am I allowed to edit my ratio request post to include the ratio they PM to me whether they wish it stated openly or not?

If you don’t want pms with prices, there is a delete button that you can use even before you open the message.

The price is probably linked very closely with websites you can buy/sell for $$ just like RuneScape.

The market is the market and will work just as it should

/e maybe the are secretive because of fear something will happen to accounts when certain trade volumes are posted with time stamps.. if you say jsp in chat on some games, you we be flagged to watch for RMT

If the prices are the prices and they are tied to things outside jsp.. then stating them openly wouldn't be a problem or change that right?

also dude, of course I want things cheaper when buying zzz lol all buyers do no matter what it is.
I dont really care tho if the prices are at a stable place and pretty much locked in.. it is what it is at that point.
state the price openly and if the rest of the sellers are the same then great cool fine super but...

this doesn't explain why they make you pm for ratio, only why they don't cover final agreement in the thread.
with the amount of bots in the game i seriously doubt they are checking time stamps on jsp, they obviously have a much bigger problem to deal with.

shrug, just want it to be easy to trade at a good ratio the same as they want to sell at a good one for themselves.

I agree totally with this no more posts not stating prices on lost ark thats ridiculous its like trying to buy gold being totally blinded

Ive recently started playing this game and ive never seen something so ridiculous they dont add the prices to anything :S

Considering you are not supposed to conduct trades via PM's, then it would stand to reason all appropriate information pertaining to the trade should be listed up front in the thread.
This protects both the buyer and the seller.

Its not that way go check it out for yourself i try to buy gold and they all want me to pm them theres no price listed in the trades
