Currently the notifications can be shown when clicking tools
It would be useful to have notifications somewhere clearer, its a feature I only discovered recently and I think more people can find use to this.

If you're going to put anything there it might as well be the tools tab itself but that doesn't seem necessary.
They have it in tools to reduce screen clutter on an already cluttered screen it seems.
Notifications stay until you leave the screen already and you can have the notifications tab open in a separate tab as is to reduce clicks.
On mobile this would save 1 click but thats so negligible to mobile browsing that I don't see separating it from the tools tab as useful.
Of course this is my opinion and others might feel differently.
