Im trying to update my for sale list, I do not want to keep posting and having people contact me for items that have been sold, I apologize if this is a dumb question just want to be respectful.

Unfortunately you cannot remove or close a post, simply don’t post on it and let it die, if it’s in an acceptable window, you can edit out your first post and let users know the item is no longer for sale. If you are still getting messages, you can ask a trade mod to close the topic for you, but be mindful as they are very busy.
