notify user when their post is reported?

Hi Unborn,

Users would be able to exploit this feature by spamming users notifications that their post has been reported. There are some users who report every post a user posts in an effort to have their threads closed or action taken against their account. This feature helps facilitate spam and I don’t think is needed.

Furthermore, I think the current report system works as intended.

What's the benefit on you getting a notification if someone reported your post?

Because there are people on this site who have some weird fetish for reporting everything, and if they are abusing the feature or targeting a user, it could be dealt with.

That being said, there are also users who have every one of their posts reported because they are not liked on here lol. Its a vicious cycle.

Getting a notification because someone report you post won't help you in anything.
Every report is being reviewed and handled by the proper staff member and if someone abuse the system, the staff member will take care about it.

As well as, this would give trolls another tool to pester users with, even with the flood timer, someone could camp recent posts and use this feature to their advantage
It's just not needed imo
