Basically having the option to track a topic, while not receiving alerts for bumps would be a huge QOL improvement for keeping track of trade threads.

When I'm tracking threads, it's to let me know if I've been outbid, or if a res/bin has been set. Nothing is more annoying than tracking a thread only to get an alert every time it's bumped.

It seems like it should be relatively straightforward to not receive a notification if nothing other than the word "Bump" by the OP is contained in a new post in the topic

would look something like this:

Bump (this bump would be filtered out if you tracked this topic and chose to filter out bumps)

This would tell you the item is still for sale, meaning you could still bid on it, as the bid given was not accepted. No.

the beauty is being able to choose to check it or not, different people want different things from topic tracking

Seems useful for long time thread clutter such as item shop threads and the like.
