Can we have a solution to spammers in threads... maybe more than just a close of a thread?

Couldn't we extend it so people we block cannot comment on our threads?

I've had many threads closed because people are commenting on stuff they shouldn't be.

It's becoming really annoying.

I think reporting the spam is the best way to deal with these issues. I usually report all the spam right away in my topics. Additionally, if it gets pretty bad - send a PM to a trade moderator. They will warn the users for you.

I personally do not think an ability to block people from posting in your threads is feasible and a healthy choice. I am sure people would abuse it and it will create more problems.

Edit: add a poll to your topic. See if you get more support- that might help.

Follow Tony’s advice here, gather all the threads he’s been spamming in and following you on and send them directly over to a trade moderator or a moderator of none are online.

Also ignore him, responding to him is considered spam and it won’t help you’re case.
