Many Many Many times, I have seen where a thread gets bumped where the OP (Original Poster) of a thread is offline and you're unable to make a transaction. If you're an eager trader like me and dont want to wait for someone that is offline to come online this comes off as a huge waste of your time considering how many posts are viewed on a daily basis. My suggestion is to setup a thread filter to filter out offline OP threads.

I don't know if it's even possible, but I do like the concept. Would make searching for specific items and getting them right away faster.

I like the idea as long as it was a chosen filter and not an automatic filter process. The opposite side of this, many times when selling more rare/oddball items they might be up for sale for a week or more before someone eventually needs it and finds it via search, then coordinate a time to both be on at the same time to make the trade.

Hey, Halomaster!

If it will work in a similar way how you toggle on and off "softcore" and "hardcore" trading on the Playstation forum - I think it can be very neat! (https://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=86)

For example, one toggle could be - online postings, and the other all postings; or something similar.

Definitely vote yes on the idea :)

The idea sounds good at first, but I think it will only hinder trading in the long run. I personally offer in a lot of threads that I’m sure people won’t get to me quickly on. I realize you’re proposing a toggle, but I think it hurts the traders that can’t stay online all the time to keep their trades as the “online” trades.

Additionally, there’s not a good way to tell if someone is offline. People don’t ever really log out, and someone may have been active 10 seconds ago, but that doesn’t mean they are online. They could have just left. I don’t think this suggestion would actually be possible or practical considering that fact.

Voting no.

Then how about adding a conditional filter for last seen then? 5 minute intervals; IE: 5-10-15-20-25-30 minutes offline. Don't honestly see how adding filters to a search can be negative, you do this by choice........

I second this.

Voted no until a more specified solution/suggestion is here. You are on to something good however.

Thanks for the suggestion, however, there are no plans to implement this at this time. Couple of the bigger reasons:
1) Not all online users are online. Last click 5 seconds might be there last until tomorrow.
2) Not all offline users are offline. Many are subscribed to notifications to come back upon replies, or could come back at any moment in time.
3) This would potentially encourage auto refresh abuse or other forms of automation.
