I'm pretty sure at some point this has been brought up, but I think it would be a great help to the messages system that when deleting messages... you could select all the messages on all the pages to delete at one time. Like instead of having to click select all...delete...than reclick the trash link and select all than delete ... that you could select all...than 2nd page..select all..delete...3rd page select all and delete every thing at one time... OR when you select all on page 1 and delete...it refreshes on the same page of trash and doesnt make you reselect the trash link!!!

This was done intentionally to prevent users accidentally deleting important trade messages, you can imagine how many messages active users get and how often they have to clear them out.

The second action is pretty much an intentional redundancy method to prevent accidental deletion.

Thanks for offering your suggestion! I completely agree with you that it is quite inconvenient to select messages on all the pages separately and delete them individually. However, I also understand the point Krawk brought as well. It does seem intentional and I’m sure it helped some people in the past.

I would still add a poll to your topic to see how many people agree with you, if you want this suggestion to get anywhere. I would personally like to see an option that you can enable that once you get full, your last message will be automatically deleted to allow new messages to come in.
